Message	if they are working it will cause the engine to begin to idle very poorly. You can disconnect each VTC at a time and do this test to make sure there is a change in idle so you will know both are functioning. But as Greg also stated, make sure they are turning on in a driving test when you put the motor under load by watching conzult/nds as well. Enthusiasts soon understand each other. --W. Irving.
